Staring at the R&B color palette and killing
my eyes, with the aim to raise the value of
my art. Yes. This is the way of this idiot.
Trying to maintain the illusions so that I
can come up with an accurate explanation
to it. So, literally waiting for nothing to end
right now. Its like I am holding my breathe
so that I can reach heaven.
This project has been occupying
my thoughts for quite some time,
leading me to constantly revise
and question its direction. I've
found myself stuck with numerous
questions: What significance do
these red and blue colors hold?
Are they essential, or just superfluous
additions? Am I wasting colors? Are
they dancing too hard? What did/am
I making? Enemies? Did I spoil
something perfect. Should I blow it
all up and start all over again? This is
how I feel about red and blue to be
very honest: “How to have no idea
where and why you are going?” I
initially saw them merely as symbols
of confusion and uncertainty. But
minutes after such dozen I realised
that it really is more than this. They
hold 60% of the color palette,
saturating the world around me
in various forms, from classroom
seats to corporate logos, household
products to national flags. Their
versatility are undeniable.
They somehow happen to have a
dominating effect and power on us.
When juxtaposed together, they
interplay as light and shadow. It is 60%
of the color palette that means every
other color has it. The color palette
itself can make one buy it, even if you
don’t need that R&B in life, YOU DO
NEED IT. I've come to appreciate their
role not just as colors, but as powerful
forces shaping our experiences and
interactions.
Isn’t this just the perfect explanation
for this scenario? Why to be stable?
That’s for the horses anyway (life
without memes would have been
so dull). So, maybe I can give each
garment a different storyline, yet
all connected by the two colors.
